Based on fungi,Based on nutrients, Based on well-being
We are non-conformists. That's why we want everything: we want to help the planet, to eat well and nutritious.
We replicate the experience of eating meat with great nutritional benefits, low environmental impact and great taste. How do we do it?
First, we go out into the forest
We search for and research the best representatives of the fungal kingdom to isolate and culture their tissues.
Then, we perform the fermentation
Once we have a candidate, we induce its growth by fermenting different substrates under different environmental conditions.
After the tissue has grown to the desired shape and texture, it is ready for harvesting.
Finally, we go to market
After flavoring and packaging, our products are available your favourite store: What are you waiting for?
We produce considerably less CO2 than animal production
They contain antioxidants beneficial to health
A high protein content of 23%! Yes... that's a lot
The mushrooms we use do not produce cholesterol
New answers to old questions
What do you do?
We are entusiastic fungal scientists. We love to research and, understand them. In this opportunity, we developed a new line of products that look and taste like meat.
What is mycelium?
Filamentous fungi (such as mushrooms) are formed by hyphae, small multicellular structures, which grow and branch giving rise to a complex network: the mycelium.
What is fermentation?
It is the process by which organic substrates are transformed by the action of a microorganism. In our case, besides transforming, our fungi add many benefits ;)
Why are they different?
Unlike plant-based products, we don't process the substrates, we don't use additives like "carrageenan" or "di-methyl cellulose" and we don't use preservatives. But we do provide 23% protein with all the necessary amino acids, we provide vitamin D, and we are free of cholesterol and animal cruelty. Would you like to try us?
What are they made of?
We use organic substrates that you can find at home, and mushrooms with a long tradition of consumption and incredible flavors that simulate the experience of eating meat.
